Obituary for James Hildred Bush James Hildred Bush, 92, of Taylorsville, passed away at his residence on May 26, 2018. He was retired from Steven’s Sportswear and was a WWII veteran who served in France, Germany, and Italy. He was a deacon of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Frankie Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at Eden Baptist Church Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Venie Bush; wife, Gladyce Bush; one son, James Donald Bush; and two brothers, Henry Clinton Bush, and Benny Houston Bush.

He is survived by one daughter, Jan (Larry) Boykin; three grandchildren, Michael Boykin, Rhonda (Chuck) Hagar, and Penny (Paul) Hulan; six great grandchildren, Heather (Jacob) Meador, Holly Hagar, Will Hagar, Benji Welch, Morgan Hulan, and Max Hulan; and two great great grandchildren, Emma Meador, and Ava Welch; and one daughter in-law, Pam Bush Ivy (Frank). Pallbearers will be Jerry King, Gary King, Mike Bryant, Joe Harden, Wayne Yeager, and Mike Cowart. Honorary pallbearers will be John Dill, the King nephews and the deacons of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville.
