Obituary for Billy Robert Jenkins Billy Robert Jenkins, 59, of Stringer passed away on May 12, 2018 at Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg. Visitation will be Monday May 14, 2018 at Memory Chapel from 5-8:00pm. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018.
Bro. Scott Stringer will officiate. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather.
He was a member of Fair Ridge Baptist Church in Stringer. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Jenkins. Survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Gwen Jenkins; mother, Helen Jenkins; two sons, Jake (Cindy) Jenkins of Stringer, and Wesley (Tori) Jenkins of Stringer; two grandchildren, Sawyer and Rowen Jenkins; two brothers, Shawn (Danon) Jenkins, and Phil Jenkins; and one sister, Wanda (Jerry) Huddleston.
Pallbearers will be, Shawn Jenkins, Phil Jenkins, Johnny Anderson, Ed Buckley, Charlie Terry, and Ricky Ishee. The family would like to thank the staff at Asbury Hospice and UMMC Medical Center. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Asbury Hospice House.
