Obituary for Geraldine Louise Shrawder (Mathna) Geraldine Louise Shrawder, 85, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at home. She was born June 24, 1932 in Newburg, PA. Geraldine was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Rebecca Reeder Mathna.

She was a member of the former Wesleyan Church, Hagerstown, MD. Geraldine is survived by three daughters, Dorean (Bob) Swank of Smithsburg, MD, Beverly Strayer and Karen (Earl) Shrader all of Fayetteville, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg.

Officiating will be The Rev. Herbert W. Hartman. Burial will be held in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County Inc., 747 Northern Ave. , Hagerstown, MD 21742.
