Gladys Mae Palmer, 84, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Gladys was born May 18, 1934 to the late Paul and Mary (Allen) Rosenberger. In addition to her parents, Gladys is also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Lyle; and brother, Bernard Rosenberger.

Gladys leaves behind to mourn her loss, her husband, Delbert Wilbur Palmer; daughters, Nancy Ann Palmer, and Charlene Rose Palmer; grandchildren, Wesley, Chasity, Kenna Kay, and Marrkys; great grandchildren, Orion, Akyiah, Marlee, Rowen, Cade and Haven; sister-in-law, Sandra Rosenberger; and many other family and friends. Gladys was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ. She enjoyed oil painting, and often created beautiful works of art.

Gladys volunteered at Genesis Hospital. She also participated in the Sweet Adeline’s. Gladys acted as an adviser for Buttons-N-Bows, 4-H Club, and assisted with the Girl Scouts.

She will be missed. You may call on the family, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11 a.m., also at Burrell Funeral Services.

Minister Rod Stockdale officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
