Obituary for Glenn McMullen Emerick Glenn Emerick passed away on October 2, 2018 at the age of 98. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Glenn was born May 8, 1920 in Cullison, Kansas to J.S. and Fern.

He graduated from Antrim High School in Pratt, Kansas. He was drafted into the service in 1943 where he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a Staff Sergeant. He was married to Eileen in 1943.

After the war ended, Glenn graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He began working for Standard Oil of Texas in Gainesville, Texas. He was transferred to various towns in West Texas.

In 1976 Glenn was transferred to Englewood, Colorado. His positions ranged from General Engineer to Staff Proration Engineer. He was a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, AIME, Society of Professional Engineers and the Registered Professional Engineers of Texas.

Glenn enjoyed model trains, woodworking, traveling, skiing, and camping. Glenn and Eileen enjoyed traveling to DisneyWorld and Epcot Center, camping in the Colorado mountains and visiting their children and grandchildren. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen; his parents; brothers, Dwight and Omar; two nephews and a niece.

Glenn is survived by two daughters, Sharon Huser and Deborah Fox; one granddaughter, Heather Huser; three grandsons, Quentin Huser, Clayton Wade Huser and wife Ashley and Clinton Fox and wife Allison and a great granddaughter, Ainsley Fox and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends after Vigil service at 6:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd, Pratt. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pratt.

Burial with military honors will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt. Memorial may be made to Donor’s Choice in care of Larrison Mortuary.
