Born July 1, 1939, in Pahala, she was a retired field foreperson for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company and member of Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Pahala Filipino Community Association. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church; funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Casual attire. Survived by son, Glenn (Lori) Panglao of Pahala; daughters, Glendalyne “Glenda” (Ben) Nivera of Honolulu, Gerry (Ross) Gushiken of Keaau; sisters-in-law, Elaine (Akira) Higashi of Pahala, Anselma Panglao Corpuz and Feliza Panglao Lopez of the Philippines; brothers-in-law, Sam (Hilaria) Panglao of Pahala, Mariano Panglao of the Philippines; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
