Obituary for Gregory James Davis Jr Gregory J. Davis, Jr. born on August 7th 1984 to Cynthia Green Robinson and Gregory, Sr He was nicknamed “Peanut” by all of the Davis family as he lived most of his younger life in Pinnacle Heights with his Grandmother Dora Davis. Later on in life he would be nicknamed “Geezy” by his hundreds of friends.

Geezy got along with most, humble to many, but loyal to the core to anyone that he loved. Geezy had many different friends from all walks of life from Bristol to Hartford, Hartford to Bridgeport and beyond. You could catch him with his right hand man Chop.

They have a bond that could never be broken. Greg was the most loyal, loving, humorous person that you could have ever come in contact with. He was an amazing friend & father, the best provider that any man could be.

Most of all he was an amazing son, husband, father, brother and uncle. Besides his wife Jessica and his mother Cynthia, he leaves a son, Jaymee Harper of New Britain and a daughter, Mia Davis, also of New Britain; two brothers, Justin Davis of Bridgeport and Daivon Robinson of LaCrosse, Virginia; a sister, Shantaya Davis-Fenner and her husband Melvin of LaCrosse, VA; a god brother, Maurice McCoy of New Britain; a god sister, Janiya Davis of Richmond, VA; five nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Saturday 1 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Connecticut, 126 Monroe Turnpike, Trumbull, CT 06611.
