Obituary for Louise (Wooster) Ney Louise (Wooster) Ney, 97, of Berlin, passed away Monday (October 15, 2018) at her home. She was the widow of H. Richard Ney whom passed away in 1986. Born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Leese) Wooster, she lived in Berlin since 1956.

Louise worked at the former Landers, Frary & Clark Company and later at Corbin-Russwin. A graduate of Naugatuck High School, she was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in East Berlin and was a former Volunteer at the church. Surviving is her daughter, Linda Young and her husband Thomas of Plainville; a grandson, David Eick of Wethersfield; her sister, Beatrice Purdy and her husband John of Beacon Falls; several nieces and nephews.

Louise was predeceased by a brother, Howard Wooster and two sisters, Marjorie Garrett and Grace Arace. Private funeral services are at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. There are no calling hours.

Burial will be in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 68 Main Street, East Berlin, CT 06023 or to Hartford Healthcare Hospice, 1290 Silas Deane Hwy Suite 4B, Wethersfield, CT 06109 .
