Obituary for Harold Kamper Harold Kamper, 85, of Central City, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Central City Care Center in Central City. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 19 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Central City Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.

soltwagnerfuneral.com. Harold was born on March 27, 1933 to Albert and Emma (Scheibe) Kamper in Archer, NE. Harold grew up in Archer until 1942 when his family moved to Central City.

Following his education, Harold began working at Coswell Tire and Battery for 8 years. He then began working for O.K. Tire Service, after 8 more years of working for O.K. Tire, he began working for Slumyomkie Furniture. After 8 years of working for Slumyomkie, he decided to go to work for Robertson Furniture of Grand Island.

He remained there for 3 years, until his retirement in 1990. Harold enjoyed visiting with people and always had a good sense of humor. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Elaine (Kenny) Curren of Kearney.
