A funeral procession will begin Friday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph’s Church, Kingston.

Burial will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Hilda Van Buren, 93, of Pleasant Valley died Saturday January 19, 2019. Born April 16, 1925 in Poughkeepsie New York she is the daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Hazel (Conkling) Van Buren.

Hilda was known for her exquisite manners, playing the piano and also singing. Hilda is survived by her nephew Robert W. Van Buren; nieces Elizabeth Purdy, Maura Shaw Tantillo, Carol Van Buren, Kerry Ann Greenland, and Erin Shaw Contrady. Many great nieces and great nephews as well as many friends at the ARC.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by six siblings.
