Howard Lee Wilson, age 62, of Danville, VA, died on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Wilson was born on November 27, 1956, in Danville, VA, a son of the late Johnny Wilson, Jr. and Maude Shaw Wilson. He lived all of his life in Danville where he was employed with Danville Public Schools in maintenance until his retirement.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his sister, Judy Wilson; nieces, Julia M. Alston and Jasmine Wilson; nephews, John Terry, II, and Jaaron Alston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Wilson. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Schoolfield Cemetery. Swicegood Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Wilson family.
