Obituary for Ida Mae Stancil Ida Mae Stancil, age 79, passed away in Marshall, Texas on April 19, 2018. She was born in Gary, Texas on November 21, 1938 to Marshall Henry and Grace Dulin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Stancil; her parents, Marshall and Grace Dulin and her brothers, Danny Dulin and Buddy Dulin.

She is survived by her daughter, Debora Sue Nevill; her granddaughter, Michelle Lambright; grandson-in-law, Blake Lambright and her great-grandson, Tripp. Ida managed the Texaco in Waskom for 30 years. She loved her yard and flowers, and always kept a shovel in her car in case she found a treasure to bring home to her garden.

Ida was a colorful character and was passionate about caring for and feeding animals of all kinds that were in need. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, Texas with Bro Joe Hall officiating.
