Ida M. Macri, 105, of East Haven formerly of Rose St. Branford, died peacefully on July 9, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born in New Haven on March 25, 1913 to the late Carlo and Rosa Panarella Carbone. She married Albert Criscuolo and was widowed at a young age.

She worked as a seamstress in Bridgeport for several years before marrying Albert Macri who predeceased her. She spent the last 8 years of her life at Talmadge Park in East Haven. She was predeceased by sisters Jenny Romano, Rose Civitello and Marie Decerbo and brothers Joseph and Albert Carbone.

She is survived by her niece Carol Decerbo-Geesey, her nephew Charles Decerbo and her dear friend Donna Koziatek. She was predeceased by several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the staff at Talmadge Park for the wonderful care they gave her over the years and to the staff at Connecticut Hospice who cared for her in her final days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday morning at 10am in St. Mary Church, Main St. Branford. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made top Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd.
