Antoinette Grignano Rossetti, formerly of New Haven, passed away September 28, 2018 at the Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison. She was the wife of the late Gregory Henry Rossetti. Born in New Haven March 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Domenico Grignano and Maria Bernardina Panza Grignano.

She was an honors graduate of Hillhouse High School. Early in her professional life, Antoinette worked for Winchester Repeating Arms, where she met her husband. After raising four daughters, she retrained herself and returned to work at Yale University in the office of Labor Relations, working in arbitration from 1980-1993.

She was the beloved mother of Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan and her husband John Ryan, Angela Rossetti and her husband Charles Dimmler III, and the late Elizabeth Ann Rossetti and Gloria Jean Rossetti Visconti and was the mother-in-law of John Visconti. Antoinette was also the sister of nine siblings, all deceased: Sarah Capello, Paul Grignano, Fanny Garofano, Generoso (Joe) Grignano, Mary Ventaurelle, Rose DiGirolomo, Louise Castiglione, Giusseppe “Pete” Grignano, and John Grignano. Visiting hours will be held in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven Monday evening October 1st from 4-8.

At 10:30 am on Tuesday October 2nd, the Iovanne Funeral Home will be open for last respects. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church Tuesday morning at 11:30. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
