Sharon Jean Nolan, of Hamden passed away September 14, 2018 in the Masonic Health Care Center. She was the beloved wife of Charles “Duke” Nolan Jr.. Born in Hartford, CT July 3, 1945, daughter of the late James Russell “Bus” and Jeanne Marie Luyckx Bowler, Sharon was raised in the Brookside section of New Haven.

She worked for Jeneric Pentron in Wallingford selling precious metals for many years. Sharon enjoyed reading and visiting estate sales. She is the devoted mother of Kimberly Nolan and Cynthia (Josh) Brant.

Sister of Dorothy “Dottie” (Steve) Earnshaw, Donna Fitzgerald, James Bowler, and the late Bruce Bowler. Proud grandmother of Nolan and Phineas Brant. Also survived by her trusty companion Midnight.

Visiting hours will be held in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven Monday evening from 4-7. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Tuesday morning at 11:30 in St. Lawrence Cemetery 280 Derby Ave. West Haven.
