Obituary for Michael P. Gardiner In Wallingford July 4, 2018 Michael P. Gardiner 88, of Hamden died peacefully with his family by his side at the Masonic Care. Beloved husband of Jeanne Lyons Gardiner. Loving father of Karen (William) Rhone of North Haven and Susan Gardiner of Hamden, brother of Robert and Peter Gardiner of Ireland and Mary Kelleher of Hamden.

Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Meghan Delvecchio, Brian, William and Shannon Rhone. He was also survived by special nieces and nephews. Michael was born in 0ughtdarra Lisdoonvarna, Ireland on March 8, 1930 son of the late Patrick and Delia Doolan Gardiner.

Prior to his retirement he worked for 25 years with the New Haven Regional Water Authority. The family would like to thank the staff of Masonicare for their compassionate care. Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave.

Hamden Monday at 10 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 8:30 – 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to Masonicare 22 Masonic Ave.
