Obituary for Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” McIntosh (Howell) Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ McIntosh, 70, of West Frankfort, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:46 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018 in Herrin Hospital. Jackie was born October 30, 1947 in Carbondale to Hubert and Sadie (Swinford) Howell. She married Bob McIntosh on December 29, 1998 in Williamson County.

Jackie was a homemaker and loved to read. She was a member of the Rugged Cross Chapel in West Frankfort. She also loved to volunteer her time to help support veterans groups.

Jackie is survived by her husband Bob; children, Brett Knight, Rudy Knight, Teresa Joplin and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and three special family members, Karen Rains, Melinda Purcell and Monica Dorris. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clint Knight and four sisters, Virginia Lee Howell, stillborn baby Howell, Norma Fuentes and Shirley Carlisle.

Celebration of life services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Rugged Cross Chapel, 502 S. Monroe Street in West Frankfort with Rev. Don Emery officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00~1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Denning Cemetery near Orient. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements. For additional information or to sign the book of memories and light a candle, please visit www.
