Obituary for James Irwin James Michael Irwin, 65 James Michael Irwin, 65, of Ashland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Ashland, Jim was born on August 13, 1952 to the late Dean and Marge Irwin. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 34 years, Holly Irwin, their son Aaron, and his brother Steve (Kym) Irwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom (Marti) Irwin. Following his graduation from Ashland High School in 1970, he began working for Irwin’s Office Supply. Upon his father’s retirement from the family business, he joined his brother Tom and his sister-in-law Marti as a co-owner.

Throughout his lifetime he maintained his interest in boating and golfing in addition to being a Mid-Ohio race car enthusiast. Private Services will be observed by the family. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery.
