Obituary for James “Jim” H. Banks James “Jim” H. Banks, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away July 16, 2018, at the age of 67. Jim was born on September 29, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

His parents were Dr. William Herbert Banks, Jr., and Mary Ruth Horn Banks. Jim was the owner of Del Piso Tile & Stone in Rockwall and proudly celebrated the ten year anniversary of the business in May of this year. As a young man, Jim served his country in the Air Force Reserve.

He later spent many years working and traveling the world in the brick, tile and stone business. Jim enjoyed hunting, collecting cars and watching Cowboys football. He was a gifted speaker, quick witted and could always be counted on to tell a good story.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sarah Dennis Banks, and a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: William H. Banks, III; and his sister: Marilyn Henthorn. Jim will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in memory of Jim to the local Rockwall Animal Adoption Center and Shelter or to a Cancer Research Institution of choice. Memorial services will be held 4:00pm Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location. Upcoming Events Memorial Service , AUG 4.
