Obituary for Mr. James Lawson Parker James Lawson Parker, 89, husband of Edna Mae Cantrell Parker, of 823 Hilton Circle, Seneca, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Anderson County, Mr. Parker was the son of the late Arthur Franklin and Irene Bolt Parker. Mr. Parker was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was retired from Sangamo where he worked in the shipping department. He attended Fairview Community Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Parker is survived by his sons: Phillip Parker (Kelly) of Seneca, Gary Parker (Cyndi) of West Union, two grandchildren: Max Parker and Bonnie Parker, step-grandson: Stephen Rackley (Meghan), step great-grandson: Gabriel Rackley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his brothers: Johnnie Bolt, Roy Parker, Lewis Parker, Charles Parker, and his sister: Jean Parker. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. on Tuesday, July 17. 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home.
