Obituary for Mr. Wilburn “Bill” T. Singleton Wilburn “Bill” T. Singleton, 78, husband of Sandra Burton Singleton, of 111 West Freeman Road, Westminster, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at GHS Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Singleton was the son of the late J. P. and Geneva Smith Singleton. Mr. Singleton was a 1958 graduate of Westminster High School.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Singleton retired as a lab tech from Phillips Fibers and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He loved old cars and trucks and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Singleton is survived by his son: Terrell Singleton of Walhalla, SC; sisters: Patricia Rothell (Dave) of Powdersville, SC, Jane Ramey (Dean) of Raleigh, NC, Mary Harvey (Jerry) of Easley, SC, Cary Caines (Royce) of Seneca, SC and Della Gardner (Jerry) of Westminster, SC; and special great-nephews and nieces: Lacey Watkins, Symon Watkins, Selah Capps, Suzi Capps, Roxy Burton, Tanner Burton, Wade Sheriff and Case Sheriff. In addition to his parents, Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his brother: Raymond Douglas Singleton; and sister: Dorothy Sheriff. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chauga Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home.
