Obituary for Ms. Peggy Gail Tatum Peggy Gail Tatum, 76, of Walhalla, SC died Monday July 2, 2018 at the home of her daughter-in-law in Liberty, SC. Born June 18, 1942, in Clarkeville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Westbrook and Mary Sorrells Westbrook. She was a clerk at Heads Super grocery store and was a member of Chicopee United Methodist Church and was a member of the Pilot Club of Walhalla, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Regina Hopkins, a brother William Westbrook Jr She is survived by her husband, Willmer R. Tatum, Jr. , a son William Tatum (Jessica), a daughter Mary Mulligan (Steve) of Easly, SC, two brothers, David Westbrook (Kelsey) of Cheyenne, WY, James Westbrook (Susan) of Elberton, GA, and a sister Nancy Smith (Larry) of Alpharetta, GA. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and there will be a graveside service Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 3:30pm at Rabun Gap Presbyterian Cemetery in Rabun Gap, GA, with Rev. Joe Allinder and Rev. Delbert McCall officiating.

There will be no public visitation. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Chicopee United Methodist Church from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be made in her honor to the Gideons International at 121 Letson Circle Walhalla, SC.
