Janice Carol Waller Harris, 65, of 1987 Walters Mill Rd, Providence, NC, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Duke Hospital in Raleigh, NC after being in declining health for the past two years. Mrs. Harris was born on May 14, 1953 in Danville, VA, daughter of the late Claude Swanson Waller and the late Margaret Washington Buck Waller. She spent all of her life in the Danville, VA and Providence, NC areas where she worked as a bakery associate for Walmart for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Douglas Wayne Harris. Survivors include, daughter, Lee Ann Zingg (James) of Orlando, FL; brother Kent Waller (Glenda) of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Joseph Zingg of Decatur, IL and Douglas Zingg of Orlando, FL; and nieces, Melissa Karnes (Daniel) of Danville, VA and Lisa Fuqua (Mike) of Danville, VA. A graveside service will be conducted on Sat, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Danville Memorial Gardens with Elder Paul Hopkins officiating.

Interment will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Fri. night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel.
