Jeffrey David Grindstaff June 19, 1963 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences “Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend, we are all equal in the end” Jeffrey David Grindstaff, 55, Johnson City passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born June 19, 1963 in Johnson City. Jeffrey was a 1981 graduate of Science Hill High School.

He served in the United States Navy. Jeffrey was a carpenter and worked in construction. He was preceded in death by his mother: Priscilla Johnson Grindstaff.

He loved to read and was a fan of Rock & Roll music. Survivors include his children: Trystan Grindstaff, Brittany Grindstaff, Wyatt Grindstaff and Bethany Godsey. His Father: Charles Grindstaff.

His Brothers: Jay Grindstaff and Johnny Grindstaff. Several nieces & nephews. It was his wish to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
