Obituary for Jeffrey Lynn Mitchell Jeffrey Lynn Mitchell 68, of Des Moines, died May 10, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Jeffrey was born in Des Moines on April 13, 1950 to Caroline and Lynn Mitchell. He worked for Fair play scoreboards and was enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jeffrey loved riding his motorcycle along with his club friends and enjoyed their friendship for many decades. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; wife, Denise; daughter, Shawnae; siblings, Nancy, Tim and Greg; grandsons, Austin, Charles, Jeffrey II and Jack and one great grandson, Aden. A Memorial Gathering in his honor with be 2pm – 7pm, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Michelle’s Lounge, 3925 E. 14th Street – Des Moines, Iowa 50313.
