Gardisky, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 18, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center Summit. She was born on April 8, 1934 to the late Joseph and Gilda (Misurelli) Parise in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.

On July 4, 1953 she married Harry Colmer. They later divorced. On January 17, 1981 she married Richard M. Gardisky.

He preceded her in death on July 4, 2015. Jennie worked at Wells Department Store, then Woodstock Nursing Home, then at Cherry Electric for many years. After Cherry Electric, she owned and operated Jennie’s Laundromat, retiring from there.

Jennie enjoyed taking trips to casinos and traveling. Jennie loved cooking, spending time with family and having everyone over for Sunday dinners. Jennie is survived by her children Jon Colmer of Kenosha, Ricky Colmer of Kenosha, Cathy Zanin of FL and Eric (Kelly) Colmer of Kenosha, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a granddaughter Ashley Zielinski and two brothers Dominic Parise and Dennis Jahns. Private Funeral Services will be held.
