Jerry E. Garrett, Sr. April 10, 1950 – January 2, 2019 Jerry Edward Garrett, Sr., 68, of Princess Anne, departed this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Norman Garrett, Sr. and Mable Booker Garrett. He served in the United States Army.

He will be lovingly remembered by: his wife, Jane Garrett; three sons, Jerry Garrett, Jr., Jerome Garrett, and Rae’kwon Garrett; seven daughters, Rosalie Garrett, Beatrice Garrett Coston (Thomas), Lisa Garrett, Cheryl Garrett, Iris Wright (Deshawn, Sr.), April Robinson, and Danielle Robinson; two brothers, David Booker and Ronald Garrett; six sisters, Eleanor Stuckey, Doris Garrett, Helen Garrett, Nadine Garrett, Sylvia Garrett, and Yvonne Garrett; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nathaniel Garrett and Norman Garrett, Sr Mr. Garrett will lie in repose on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 1 to 2 PM at First Baptist Church, 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue, Salisbury.

The funeral service will begin at 2 PM. Interment will be held at a later date at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Ellwood Road, Hurlock.
