Obituary for Jimmy Dean “Jim” Duncan Jimmy Dean “Jim” Duncan was born on November 13, 1950 to John Clark Duncan and Opal Mae Dooty (Varnell) in Cherokee, Oklahoma. He passed from this world at the young age of 67 on November 22, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Jim served his country well with two tours in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, whereafter he received an honorable discharge.

Jim worked at the Wichita Postal Service, Cessna, and Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems, where he later retired. In his spare time, Jim loved to fish, cruise in his pontoon, listen to Phil Collins, and old country music, and spending time camping with his family at the lake. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karen Duncan; his sons and their wives and families, Jeremy and Brandy Duncan, Jason and Deanna Duncan, Michael and Hope Duncan and grandchildren, Grace and Faith Duncan; His mother, Opal Mea Dooty; five sisters, Linda Chapman, Kay Gibbs, Cherry Fowler, Terri Lynn Owing and Janet Owens; brother, Phillip Owens; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

His deep love for his family shown the best through his last words “I love my boys, and all my family, and I especially love my wife”. Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 N. York St, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.
