Obituary for Jimmy Wayne Robinette Mr. Jimmy Wayne Robinette, age 65, of the Pine Creek section of Swords Creek, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday (November 9, 2018) at his home. Born September 12, 1953 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late James and Marie Ella Boyd Robinette. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of Pine Creek Holiness Church.
He was formerly employed as a mechanic at Modern Chevrolet in Honaker, Virginia retiring with over twenty years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant siblings, Wanda Sue Robinette and Gary Woody Robinette. Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Judy Hughes Robinette of the home; two sons, Brian Robinette and wife, Melissa of Pounding Mill and David Robinette and companion, Amanda Wall of Raven, Virginia; one sister, Diane Lester and husband, Lonnie “Tarpin” of Pine Creek; very special nephews, Nathan Dye and Michael Walker; special caretaker, Kathy Hubbard; a host of family and friends also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Legacy Hospice and their staff, especially Becky Casey and Beth Dillon for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Richardson and Rev.
Luther Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Richardson Cemetery at Pine Creek, Virginia. Pallbearers will be David Baldwin, Timothy Baldwin, Tommy Messer, Tommy Dye, Michael Walker, Chris Adkins, and Robbie Hughes.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Pine Creek Holiness Church and Nathan Dye. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday at the Honaker Funeral Home, where an evening service will be conducted at 7 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.
