Obituary for Jo Ann Sutherland Jo Ann Crawford Sutherland, 74, of 10565 Hwy 86 North, Providence, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, after be in declining health for the past several years. Jo Ann was born in Kenton County, Kentucky on May 5, 1944, daughter to the late Clarence Crawford and Leura Schoonover Crawford. She had moved to Caswell County in 2000 from Kentucky.

Jo Ann had retired from the Caswell Family Medical Center in Yanceyville where she worked as an Insurance Clerk. She was a member of the Shady Oak Baptist Church in Providence, NC. Jo Ann is survived by Otis C. Sutherland of the residence, one daughter Deborah Ann Bowman & husband Richard of Danville, VA, three granddaughters, Alissa Betzner & husband Frank, Jessica Bencina & husband Tony and Amanda Bowman, four great grandchildren, Alyssa Betzner, Nick Betzner, Ava Betzner and Mason Bencina.

She was predeceased by five brothers & 3 sisters. A memorial service for Jo Ann will be conducted on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. from the Shady Oak Baptist Church by the Reverend Kenneth Hammock. Interment will be at a later date.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Animal Protection Society of Caswell County, 836 County Home Road, Yanceyville, NC 27379.
