Obituary for Joan M. Larkin Joan M. Larkin, 80, of West York, died on June 21, 2018 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas Joseph Larkin, Sr. Born in York on November 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia (Clough) Berger. Joan was a nursing assistant, most recently at Country Meadows.

She served in the United States Navy and was a 1955 graduate of West York High School. Joan was a very active member of York Christian Fellowship Church. She is survived by three children Mary Virginia Larkin of York, Michael A. Larkin of Richmond, VA, and Thomas J. Larkin, Jr. of Lowell, MA; four grandchildren, Steven and Jessica Stanton and Ryan and Collin Larkin; a sister, Sue Fair of Dover; and a brother, David Berger of Dover.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Stanton and two sisters, Carol Grim and Kathy Rodkey. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to York Christian Fellowship, 110 Weldon Drive, York, PA 17404.
