Obituary for John C. Walker John C. Walker, 69 of York, PA, died at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy, PA on June 16, 2018. He was the husband of Linda Jane (Witmyer) Walker with whom he observed their 32nd wedding anniversary on July 3, 2017. Born August 8, 1948 in York, PA, he was the son of the late Walter Walker and the late Melvina (Runkle) Walker Wagner.

John retired from B.A.E. following 40 years of employment. He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting, boating, camping and outdoor activities. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a step son, Shannon R. Haldeman and his wife Judith of York, PA, a granddaughter, Katelyn Haldeman and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two sisters. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St. York, PA. A visitation will be held Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
