Joanne Ritter, 85 of Newton Falls Ohio, went home to be with The Lord on Friday May 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born July 10, 1932, Joanne is the daughter of late Paul and Ester Snyder. Joanne was a dedicated member of the First Church of God where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Ritter. They were blessed with 37 wonderful years of marriage. She was also proceeded in death by her daughter Karen A. Starcher, three brothers Bill Snyder, Richard Snyder and Donald Snyder and a grandson Louis Paul Starcher.

Loving memories of Joanne will be carried on by her daughter Tamie Walason and son in law Frank Walason, two sons Danny Hiles and John Britton. Brothers, Bernard Snyder (Joyce) and Laird Snyder (Karen) Brother In law Phil Ritter, Grandchildren Frankie Walason and Mary Walason, Lisa Rios (Dean), Merrick Starcher Jr., Tamie Marie Shaffer (Christopher). Great Grandchildren Laura Griffith and Ethan Shaffer.

Great-Great Grandchildren Isabelle and Lylah Griffith. Family and friends will be received Tuesday May 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Services will be held Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM with a viewing one-hour prior.

All will be located at the First Church of God, 426 W. Broad, Newton Falls, OH 44444. Pastor Arnold Edmondson will be officiating. Joanne will be laid to rest at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Warren Twp.

, Ohio. The Family would like to thank Dr. Clendenin, Dr. Brocker and Dr. Andrews for giving Joanne compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in care of her family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
