John S. Lukwinski, age 67, of McHenry, died unexpectedly on October 25, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 9, 1951 in Chicago to John B. and Mary (Nowak) Lukwinski. On January 13, 2001, he was united in marriage to Elisa A. Zurn in Las Vegas.

A truck driver by trade for FAB Express, John was a man of faith and a devoted member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Wonder Lake. He enjoyed being outdoors and with nature. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son Matthew. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Rd. , McHenry, IL 60050 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The visitation will resume on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral blessing at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Christ the King Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to John’s Tribute Fund at www. justenfh.com.
