John Smith, 54, of Lancaster passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Bluegrass Hospice Care in Lexington Ky. John was the son of the late Albert Sydney and Carolyn Ann Smith. John was the widower of Erica Lynn Smith his soul mate and the love of his life.

Surviving are 1 Son: Joshua Lee (Inna) Smith of Nicholasville; 1 Daughter: Alexandria Carolyn (Scotty) Marion of Nicholasville; 2 Brothers: Albert Keith Smith of UZ; Kenneth Ray Smith of Kingdom Come; 1 Sister: Connie Marcella Smith of Lexington; 4 Grandchildren: Madilyn Reese Marion, Clara Abigal Marion, Christian Scott Marion, Jonathan Henry Smith. John will be remembered by his love of playing guitars and building fences. He owned and operated John Smith fence company for 25 years.

Funeral: 1:00 P.M. Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft Officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Monday November 19, 2018 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Melvin Adams Cemetery.
