John’s Obituary John Will Cheak, 85, husband of 68 years to Ann Moore Cheak, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born October 6, 1933 in Anderson County, John Will was the son of the late Johnie Granvel and Alma Gladys (Stratton) Cheak. John Will was a manufacturing specialist with IBM for over 30 years.

He was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church, and a 50+ year member of the Anderson Masonic Lodge #90. Along with his wife, John Will is survived by a daughter, Joanie (Billy) Thacker and a son, John G. (Rhonda) Cheak, all of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Jim (Ashlee) Thacker, Kyle (Emily) Thacker, John (Morgan) Thacker, Savannah Cheak and Alise Cheak, all of Lawrenceburg; and five great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro.

Mike Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 – 6 PM with Masonic rites at 5:30 PM, and Monday from 12 noon till time of service.

Casket bearers will be Jim Thacker, Kyle Thacker, John Thacker, Ricky Gillis, Chris Atkins and James Doss. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children, Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
