Jose Cruz May 03, 1932 – March 12, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WATERBURY Jose Cruz “Loving husband, father grandfather and great grandfather” Jose Cruz age 86 of Waterbury, formerly of Meriden, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on March 12, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Angela (Fernandez) Cruz. Jose was born May 13, 1932 in Licey al Medio, Dominican Republic, a son of the late Adriano and Mercedes (Collado) Cruz.

Prior to retiring, Jose was employed as a factory worker for many years. Besides his wife of 52 years of Waterbury, he leaves his son Jose Cruz of Clifton, NJ a daughter Rainoa Cruz and her husband Victor of Waterbury, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Arrangements: Funeral Saturday March 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial / Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury Connecticut 06708. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
