Joseph’s Obituary Joseph D. (Joe), Riley, 61, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at First Christian Church in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the church.

Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Marshall Parks and Recreation in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.

campbell-lewis.com Born November 29, 1957, in Marshall, Joe was the son of the late Fred Raymond Riley Sr. and Joicy “Toad” Bacon Riley. He lived in Marshall his entire life and was a 1976 graduate of Marshall High School. On October 13, 1979, he married the love of his life, Denne Poppinga who survives of the home.

He dedicated his entire career to what was formerly Quinn Concrete and now Coreslab Structures in Marshall. An amazing husband, father and grandfather, Joe was a lover of life and a family man at heart and was loved by everyone he met. He was happiest when with his family and particularly loved spending time with his grandkids.

Joe enjoyed family vacations and trips to the lake with his beloved wife. He was a passionate fan of all sports especially golf, which he picked up later in life. He never missed an opportunity to play and perfect his game.

Joe was a kind, intelligent man and always proud to share the latest stories about his grandkids, whom he loved dearly. Joe will be missed desperately by all. In addition to his wife Denne, Joe is survived by two sons, Jeremy Ward (Emily) of Marshall and Josh Riley (Linsey) of Marshall; five grandchildren, Lauren Kay Riley, Brock Ryan Riley, Liz, John and Skyler Ward; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
