Harry’s Obituary Harry E. Peeples, Sr., 72, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Sunday, March 3, 2019, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Sweet Springs Assembly of God, with Rev. Tommy Mapes and Rev.

Cliff Cato officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs.

Friends may sign the online register book at www. campbell-lewis.com Born June 25, 1946, in Macon, MO, he was the son of the late Earnest Floyd Peeples and Flora Almitty Haines Peeples. On August 5, 1963, he married Mary Hutchison who survives of the home.

He was owner and operator of several successful businesses throughout his life. He was a member of Local Union 101 of Heavy Equipment Operators, Barbee Lodge No. 217 AF & AM and a city councilman in Sweet Springs for 10 years.

He attended the Assembly of God Church. In addition to his wife Mary, Harry is survived by two sons, Harry Everett Peeples, Jr. of Sweet Springs and Mark A. Peeples (Karen) of Belton, MO; three grandchildren, Kristen M. Baar, Jennifer Tindall and Nick Peeples; four great-grandchildren, Sierra and Jordan Baar, Owen Kobel and Raedyn Peeples; one brother, Charles Edward Peeples of Nelson, MO and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded by one sister, Shirley Galloway; and two brothers, George (Bobby) Peeples and Roy Joe Peeples.
