Rogersville: Josephine Roark, age 102, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Signature Health Care, Rogersville, after a period of declining health. She was a member of Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Roark; parents, Thomas O. and Della Ward Walker, step-mother, Parlee Heck Walker; brother, Monroe Walker, George Walker and Lawrence Walker; sisters, Lillie Belle Kite, Lucille Long.

and Lucinda Cawood. Survivors include her daughter, Georgia L. Lavengood of Bulls Gap and son, Eugene Roark and wife, Shirley of Mosheim; 9 grandchildren, Regina Brooks and husband,Tom, Darrell Clark and wife, Teresa, Richard Clark and wife, Jacquie, Tammy Brooks and husband, Ralph, Brian Clark and wife, Tina, Audrey Roark, Tony Roark, Julie Shelton and Amy Robinson; 19 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Visitation hours will be 6:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jamey Brooks, Rev. Jason Lawson and Rev.
