Juanita Virginia Justus Laughter, 80, passed away on June 3, 2018. She was born to Earlene and Roosevelt Justus on July 3, 1937 in Henderson County. Juanita loved to take her dog, Leo, on walks.

She loved nature and spent a lot of time outside. She dedicated her life to raising her family and her favorite time was the time spent with them. In addition to her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Laughter; four sons Arthur, Lonnie, Frank and George Gary Laughter; a daughter Nancy Laughter McMurray and one sister, Freida McCraw.

Left behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Michael Laughter of Edneyville, NC; Jeff Laughter of Edneyville, NC; grandchildren, Jacqueline McMurray of Hendersonville, NC; Catherine Gordon of Anderson, SC; Crystal McMurray of Hendersonville, NC; Joshua Laughter and Jacob Laughter, both of Edneyville, NC. She also leaves behind Franklin Laughter, Tamara Laughter, Samuel Laughter, Correne Laughter all of Edneyville, NC; and several great grandchildren.
