Obituary for Juanita S. Tipton Juanita (Shiew) Tipton, 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered her Heavenly home Friday morning, October 5, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born on September 10, 1936 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Juanita was very blessed to have been adopted and raised by William and Sylvia Shiew.

She married John William Tipton Sr on December 21, 1954 in Dillon, South Carolina. They shared many years of life and marriage together. She began working at a young age at Purity Drug Store then Brockway Glass, and later at MRMC Cancer Center, and Shiew Janitor Services.

Her hobbies were reading, fishing, pottery, being outside in the sun, and listening to music but Juanita loved nothing more than spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Being a homemaker for her family was her greatest passion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Sylvia Shiew; husband, John William Tipton Sr; son-in-law, Raymond Sallee; and brother, Tom Walkabout.

Juanita is survived by her son, John Tipton Jr and wife Jill; daughters, Janet Bradshaw and Joyce Sallee; grandchildren, Jessica Anthis, Jennifer Arnold, Tiffany Greene, Anita Bryant, and Austin Bradshaw; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Harold Shiew, John Walkabout, and Barbara Seaton; along with other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral services celebrating Juanita’s life will be at 1PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Dr. Johnny Derouen officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be John Tipton Jr, Kevin Anthis, Andy Greene, Chris Seaton, Travis Bryant, and Austin Bradshaw.
