Obituary for Walter C. “Charley” Yadon Jr. Walter Charles “Charley” Yadon, Jr., 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018. He was born on October 13, 1935 to Walter Charles Yadon, Sr. and Lyndral E. (McCoy) Yadon in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Charley graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the Class of 1953.

In 1957 he graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Charley married Dorothy on June 14, 1985 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They shared over 33 years of life and marriage together.

Charley worked at American Industrial Supply as a sales manager until his retirement. He was a professional musician and was a drummer for over 60 years. Charley played the drums in high school as well as the OU band.

He loved watching OU football and enjoyed playing golf. Charley loved his family very much and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lyndral Yadon; and his brother Tom Yadon. Charley is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Yadon; daughter Mindi Havens of Muskogee, OK; granddaughter, Lauren Ward and husband Dylan of Adair, OK; grandson, Trae Havens of Norman, OK; sister, JoAnn White of San Diego, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. A private family memorial service will be at a later date.
