Judy’s Obituary PETERSTOWN, WV – Judy Ann Hicks, age 61, of Peterstown, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, VA. Born February 28, 1957, in Union, WV, she was the daughter of Charles Amos, Sr. and Frances McMahan Amos of Rock Camp, VA. Judy was a member of the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Copeland. In addition to her parents, survivors include her loving husband, Joe Hicks of Peterstown, WV; two sons, Allen Bennett of Peterstown, WV, and Devin Bennett of Union, WV; three grandchildren, Tymberly, Arabella, and Bethany Bennett; three brothers, Charles Amos, Jr. and wife Sheila of Rock Camp, WV, Carl Amos and wife Linda, and Howard Amos and wife Robin, all of Lindside, WV; one sister, Brenda Peck and husband Wayne of Rock Camp, WV; one brother-in-law, Roger Copeland of Wikel, WV; several nieces and nephews; and her special little dog, Barkey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lindside, WV, with Pastor Jerry Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Fortner Cemetery in Rock Camp, WV, with Bane Morris, T.J. Shires, Justin Page, Josh Boothe, William Munsey, and C.J. Amos serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the church.
