Judy Elaine (Fine) Thornell, 67, of Bowling Green passed away December 14, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green. The Pontiac, Michigan native was born March 20, 1951 to the late Larry and Viola (May) Fine. Judy was strong-willed, firm, but caring person.

She had a passion for genealogy and researching her ancestry, usually doing it for anyone who would ask. Judy was an avid reader and cat lover. She did camera work for the printing industry.

She was a great mother, wife, and friend. There are no replacements for her. Survivors include her husband, Jack Thornell; three sons, Greg Massey of Florida, Philip Massey of Bowling Green, and Stephen Thornell of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson, Philip Ethan Massey, Stephen Thomas Thornell, Jr., and Jaxon Bryant; a great-grandchild; sister, Lillian Stoffo of Florida; and brother, Linwood Fine.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will take place in Green River Union Cemetery.
