Julie Knott Lawson, 50, of Owensboro passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at her home. Julie was born January 14, 1969 in Owensboro to Walter and Margaret Knott. Everyone who knew Julie would express how sweet and kind hearted she was and how her laugh would take over a room.

She was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School class of 1987 and was of the Catholic faith. Surviving is her husband, Larry Lawson, children: Bradley Horn (Coty), Natalie Clark, CJ Hamilton (Stephen), and Nicholas Lawson; grandchildren: Jackson Horn, Connor Horn, and Lila Clark; siblings: Francie Knott Tierney (John) and Brian Knott; nephew, Mark Tierney, and niece, Molly Tierney. The Funeral mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Father Pat Reynolds officiating.

Burial will take place at Browns Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Tuesday at the church. Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Lawson.
