Kenneth Earl Oliver, Sr., 92, of Owensboro, died on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home. He was born June 14, 1926 in Wellsville, Ohio to the late Charles W. Oliver Sr. and Helen Weigle Oliver. He was a retired tool & die maker for White Motor in Cleveland and attended Owensboro Christian Church.

Kenneth was a seaman first class in the U.S. Navy during World War II where he served as a submarine tender on the U.S.S. Orien. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1947. He had a keen interest in genealogy and was a Civil War buff and enjoyed watching Westerns.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth E. Oliver; brothers, Charles Oliver and Carl Oliver; and sister, Janet Leith. Survivors include his nieces, Carla Oliver and Susan Oliver, of Owensboro, with whom he resided; daughter, Donna Koch, of Cleveland, OH; two grandchildren; and sister, Audra Baughman, of Waynesville, OH. There will be a private graveside service.
