Kathleen Callander June 2, 1925 – January 5, 2019 Kathleen June Callander, age 93, of Nappanee, died at 7:35 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Green House Village of Goshen after a short illness. She was born June 2, 1925 in Bourbon to Charles and Alice (Watkins) Miller. Mrs. Callander lived her lifetime in this area.

On August 30, 1947, she married James Callander in Goshen. He preceded her in death November 30, 2000. Kathleen was a homemaker and had worked at Vitreous in Nappanee and at Nappanee Middle School as a cook.

She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed her flowers and sitting on her deck. She was a farm girl and all who knew her enjoyed her giggling and laughter. Kathleen was a member of the Snappy Nappy Red Hats and enjoyed going to the Elder Haus.

Surviving are her sons, Dave Callander and Mike Callander , both of Nappanee; grandchildren, Josh, Angie, Kylie; and great grandchildren, Drew and Cora Callander, RyLee Kinser, and Harper Tedder. She was preceded in death by sisters, Greta Love and Dorothy Geyer. Family and friends may call from 1-3 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
