Obituary for Kathleen Ryan Creedon Utica – Kathleen Ryan Creedon, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Sitrin Health Care Center. Kathleen was born on October 19, 1927 in Utica, the daughter of Matthew and Nora (Malloy) Ryan. She was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School.

Kathleen was united in marriage with Bernard V. Creedon who predeceased her on September 17, 2003. Kathleen was employed as a receptionist with Ferris, Hughes, Dorrance & Grobin Law Firm prior to retiring. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ken Lasher, Utica; son and daughter-in-law, Bernie and Donna Creedon, New Hartford; sisters-in-law, Peg Kelleher, FL and Maureen Purcell, New Hartford; grandchildren, KC (Beth) Lasher, CO, Keith (Kelli) Lasher, Cicero, Carleen Creedon, Boston, and great grandchildren, Ryan and Riley Lasher.

Kathleen also leaves many dear nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Matt, Eddie and Mary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.

The family will receive guests following the Mass. There are no calling hours. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Kathleen’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www. stjude.org). Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
