Obituary for Mrs. Regina C. (DeRocco) Doti UTICA – Mrs. Regina C. (DeRocco) Doti, age 75, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at MVHS at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born in Utica on February 21, 1943, Regina was the daughter of the late Lucian and Rose (Marone) DeRocco. She was a graduate of Proctor High School.

On August 31, 1996 she married Michael A. Doti with whom she shared 22 years. At one time, Regina was employed with the Kimberly Quality Health Care Company as a Nurse’s Aide. Regina was upbeat, friendly, kind, and caring.

She loved to take drives, especially to the North country. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling. She was charitable, especially in supporting the ethical treatment of animals.

Regina is survived by her husband, Michael. She held close to her heart the memory of her son, Allen Bechy who passed away on July 17, 2011. She also leaves her close friends and extended family, Oliver and Maggie Crewe and their daughter Ariane who was like a daughter to Regina.

She was predeceased by her aunt, Caroline R. DeRocco. The family is grateful to the staff of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center for their compassionate care. The family honored and commemorated Regina’s life at a private gathering.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial funeral service and Celebration of Life which will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. with Rev. David Ossenfort officiating the ceremony.
